Avoid Tend Dental – Deceptive Billing and Painful Experience Don’t be fooled by Tend Dental’s glamorous office and trendy vibe — my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I was explicitly told I wouldn't have to pay anything for my X-rays — that Tend would cover it. Later, I was billed for the exact service they said was free. When I missed an appointment, I was promised a refund of the no-show fee once I completed my next visit. After doing so, they instead applied the "refund" to a disputed balance — one that shouldn't have existed in the first place.

Every time I reached out, the story kept changing. Beyond the billing dishonesty, the clinical experience was just as disappointing. The nurse who cleaned my teeth was rough and careless. My gums never bleed but during this cleaning, they pinched and dug so hard that I left with bleeding, soreness, and genuine discomfort. The level of professionalism and care here is far below standard.

Be warned: Tend may look sleek on the outside, but behind the fancy design is poor service, misleading communication, and painful care. Not recommended.

Pros - Dentists/Orthodontists/Assistants at the office are really nice Cons - Receptionist called & woke me up at 7:40am just to tell me they had to reschedule an appointment that was 2 days later. - Knowingly overcharged me $117 and did not tell me/give me a refund until I was told by my insurance 4 months later. It took 7 back-and-forths and 3 weeks for me to get my refund.

I had a fantastic experience at Tends! The entire team was professional, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease. The hygienist did an amazing job with my cleaning—thorough yet gentle—and took the time to explain everything. The dentist was just as wonderful, addressing my concerns with care and providing clear recommendations for my dental health.

The office itself is modern and inviting, making the visit even more comfortable. Highly recommend Tends for top-notch dental care!

Avoid this dentist. Although it is a nice experience, it is very corporate and impossible to get the information you need. The insurance team has provided me with false quotes multiple times and ended up with $$$ bills after work had been completed. This is a business and operates as such. I wouldn't trust the information / quotes you receive there.
