Every interaction was personable, attentive, and professional. I was hesitant to use Tend in the beginning because I have been with my more traditional dentist for so many years now, but I am so glad I visited the Williamsburg location.

I now have something just as good if not better and with the added convenience of being in the neighborhood! My dental hygienist did a great job with my cleaning and the doctor that reviewed my x-rays was very knowledgable. All around 5 stars!

Made an appointment here for my dental exam and for whatever reason my dental insurance was showing up in their system as inactive. I left work for this appointment and stuck around for 2 hours trying to figure out what the issue was on my end all for my insurance company to tell me there are no issues on their end and I show that I have an active plan. I was given a phone number for them to call and simply confirm that my plan is active and they proceeded to tell me they would have to message the insurance team and they have no idea when they’ll respond.

I asked if they had someone in office like the original person I was speaking to that could call and they refused even though I had the insurance customer support on the phone with my insurance card confirming that I did in fact have an active plan and it was never inactive. The employees were not helpful at all and I will not be returning. I was able to get an appointment at another dentist nearby for the same day and had no problems with my insurance.

I can’t recommend Dr. Tara and Lana highly enough! I came in with a very complicated and severe cavity, and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They went above and beyond to save my tooth, walking me through every step of the process and making sure I felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. Their professionalism, skill, and genuine compassion made a stressful situation so much easier to handle.
