I showed up for a dental cleaning and left without receiving any cleaning at all. The hygienist (Lamia Moore I believe) told me I “might” have periodontal disease and insisted I needed a scaling procedure, which came with an extra charge. I called twice in advance to confirm that my visit would be fully covered by my insurance. The receptionist reassured me not to worry about any additional charges and my visit would be completely covered. Additionally, Dr.

Bello did not confirm the periodontal disease diagnosis, therefore this assumption was solely based on her observation. Instead of offering a basic cleaning, I was told I could either pay the additional fee for the scaling or come back another day. Essentially, I was refused a standard cleaning. This felt more like an upsell tactic than genuine patient care. It’s frustrating to see that periodontal treatment is heavily promoted on their website, and now I understand why.

I had to take a day off of work for this appointment… and left with no cleaning. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

Dr. Sharma and the team were so patient, she explained everything clearly. She did an excellent job! My teeth look amazing. I would highly recommend!

This location was GREAT. (Long post alert) I had a few mishaps with another location. I was extremely frustrated and discouraged. I reached out to this location and possibly spoke to someone who 1. was unknowledege 2. was new and unfamiliar with the company 3. call center who picked up their calls during busy hours.

Again, feeling discouraged I was about to give up on my dental work needed. I reached out to corporate itself to explain the experiences. They responded quickly, promptly, and with solutions. (I never expected anyone to actually respond, just hopeful they would. ) I was set up with West Hempstead. I was very pleased to say the least. Very friendly, very accommodating, and very pleasant.

Most importantly, they were empathetic and felt valued me as a patient. This was not a show they put on either. They didn't even know name when I walked in. Everyone was greeted with respect. I hope your future experience at this location will be the same!!! They informed me of the kids day just in case noise would be an issue while I'd be on follow up appointments.
