Detailed Introduction

Aspen Dental is a brand name for a network of independently owned and operated dental practices, with a location at 76 Newtown Rd A, Danbury, CT. As part of a larger dental support organization (DSO), the clinic focuses on providing accessible and affordable comprehensive dental care. The practice offers a broad spectrum of services, including routine dental check-ups, cleanings, fillings, and a variety of restorative and cosmetic procedures. A key focus for Aspen Dental is on dentures and dental implants, with onsite labs often allowing for same-day services for dentures. The Danbury clinic also provides specialty services such as oral surgery, root canal treatments (endodontics), and teeth straightening with Motto® clear aligners. The mission of Aspen Dental is to "break down barriers to health care" and "bring better care to more people." They are committed to providing a transparent, judgment-free environment where patients can feel comfortable and have their needs met. They cater to individuals who may not have a regular dentist or who face financial obstacles to care. To address this, the clinic accepts most insurance plans and offers various financing options, including a membership plan for those without insurance. Patients can expect a clear, written estimate of their treatment plan's cost. The Aspen Dental network also has community initiatives like the "Healthy Mouth Movement," which provides free dental care to veterans and those in need. The Danbury location, like other Aspen Dental offices, operates with a team of licensed dentists and support staff dedicated to patient care and satisfaction.

If I could give them a -100 I would. I am beyond disgusted. I went to Aspen a little over a yr ago overall the experience we great. I had an emergency, they took care of it. My only complaint, until today, was the oral surgeon gave me WAYYYYY too much novicaine that I couldn't blink my eye and I could barely walk. I have had a lot of dental work and never experienced that. He also dropped my molar during the extraction and it almost went in my throat. Mind you I am petrified of the dentist and it was beyond obvious. Fast forward to today. I scan emergency appt and got a call from Sophia, who was just lovely. She said I cant be seen until I pay $700+ . I was unaware of there was even a balance. I told her this was emergent so I can do half today and I will get the rest taken care of promptly.

She had to speak with the Office Manager. She called me back and stated the Office Manager said I needed to pay in full to be seen. I was pissed. I felt like a dollar sign not a patient. I called Customer Satisfaction to file a complaint. I spoke with Leah who went above and beyond and found this to be unacceptable. She called the office and spoke with the Office Manager on my behalf and tried very hard to get me seen (I cant chew on my left side, the tooth broke and it hurts like heck). This Office Maanger REFUSED to work with us and Leah tired to negotiate but it was a wasteof time. I have since escalated my complaint. I am waiting to hear from the Regional Manager. I informed Leah that I will never return to Aspen Dental due to the horrible treatment I received. Maybe if Aspen actually sent a bill then I would have paid it a yr ago. To the Office Manager- you should not be in your position.

You do not value patients nor do you give an ounce about their dental care. You clearly only see people as a dollar sign and value people based on their financial capabilities. You lack compassion, empathy, and managerial skills. You are not about maintaining or building a patient base and gaining loyal patients. Your are arrogant, ignorant and have a cold demeanor. Even the Customer Satisfaction Rep said what you did was unacceptable and there was no reason you could not work something out with me. You need retraining in your position and basic common courtesy. I hope your days are filled with the days you deserve. Aspen please dont comment on my post with the same nonsense you commented on every post. You dont care and you will not share this with the appropriate person. If you did all the issues would be rectified including all the overcharging you do - which was verified through my insurance company. There is not a thing to be said to rectify the issue nor can anything be done to keep me as a patient and I have most certainly gone to social media and told ALL my friends and family.

Staff was great, Doc was great…they pulled two bottom teeth due to an abscess. They were very professional and thorough. At 47 yrs old, Im pretty confident the tooth ferry isn’t real. The doctor gave me my two bottom teeth to put under my pillow.

I was a bit skeptical at first but after putting my extracted teeth under my pillow, I woke up both on the mend and was also shocked to see $10 bill folded neatly where I placed my teeth. Not only am I feeling 100% better I’m also $10 richer. Thanks Aspen Dental…

The staff rocks! They are absolutely amazing. I called them on Monday morning and by 12:00pm I had my emergency procedure done. The bonus was that they actually took my insurance! I have health issues and they were able to accommodate my wishes.

The only caveat is that I am not allowed NSAIDs and they were unable to prescribe me something else for the pain. It's okay because the pain I had before the procedure was worse. Thank you!
